What is in that box?

The other night I realized that in addition to the many boxes of shoes I have that I don't wear on a regular basis, that I had a large box that was marked "clothes". Typically I put the winter/summer stuff in that box and swap it out when necessary. Sometime I put things in there that I am unsure about donating or that are still in good shape that I'm sick of wearing.

This year I haven't looked through the box. When I moved in October I hadn't really bothered to switch things out or really look at it. To my surprise I found a few things that I had completely forgotten about:

There was a lot of stuff in the box I wouldn't bother with too. But here are a few gems. The two belts I bought for a theater production and are from forever 21. The skirt is probably 4 years old and is from New York and Company. The green top has a really nice button detail on the back and is from The Limited. It's not in great shape, but it'll be nice for going to Disneyland or hanging out this summer. The while tank top I bought a couple years back from Anthropologie. Love it.

I really like it when I can find stuff I bought a while back and find it exciting again. I think next weekends project will be going through the shoes. Lots of shoes. Shoes shoes shoes.

Funky Friday.

Casual friday here is more like "casual week". It's not uncommon to see sweatpants, flip flops and shorts (especially in the summer). Slob-central. So we got in touch with our inner funk, pulling graphic tees/concert tees from the closet depths to present these outfits.

Thursday

We should be fired for forgetting to take photos yesterday, but it happens. We get distracted by things like lunch (which was totally five guys). Today in the office my phone was not being nice to picasa so I had to edit photos and they are uneven.

For both of us, the majority of the items we are wearing are relatively new. D bought the dress and shoes last weekend, and I've bought (or was gifted) everything I'm wearing in the last 3 months.

Maybe we should bring back concert t-shirt Fridays. Hurm.

So it's Monday. Whatwhat. This is pretty typical of what we wear in the office. Our dress code is rather laid back here. Correction: really laid back.
